Spice of India - Delavan: Authentic Indian Cuisine with Butter Chicken & More in Delavan, WI

Great food. The butter chicken and chicken tikka masala are favorites as well as the Lamb Rogan Josh. Great to have an option for something different in delavan.

The restaurant is new and seems slow, but the food is amazing! I love Indian food and happy that there is one in Delavan now. Had Chicken Tikka Masala with a side of garlic naan.

I Stopped in here the other day with my family (My two children and wife.) We were served quickly and the staff was super kind. The food is spectacular. I cannot say enough good things. It completely blew my expectations out of the water. It is so wonderful to have delicious Indian food around this area. We will be back often. The prices are totally reasonable, the restaurant has tons of space, they do carry out, and I cannot stress enough how delicious the food is. We had two appetizers, naan, and for entrees. The butter chicken is absolutely to die for, the lamb vindaloo was super delicious, though not as spicy as I expected or desired. My wife had a dish similar to korma that was very tasty and nutritious. My children shared and enjoyed the chicken biryani. The samosas were wonderful, the texture was absolutely spot-on. I cannot say enough good things. If you like Indian food, or even if you've never tried it before, don't hesitate. You won't be disappointed.

My family and I were in there on Saturday. They put a lot of work into the interior and is much more appealing than when it was first opened. The menus are easy to understand and the server was able to answer all our questions. The food was fantastic. We will definitely be back. Glad we have a new restaurant in town.

New owners!! Wow if youre a foodie gotta check this place out. It was delicious! Homemade naan!! Yes!! We had the vegetable samosa and it was amazing. I don't know what the two dipping sauces were but they rocked. Also the garlic naan and mulligatawny soup was delicious!! Everything is himemade so expect it to take a little bit longer but it was not slow. You want fast go to McDonalds. This is delicious authentic home cooked Indian food. In the old Hernandez building. Owner is very nice. Take out was quick.

It was truly one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. The food was incredibly authentic and full of flavour, and every dish was absolutely delightful. The service was exceptional. The overall atmosphere was fantastic and made the experience even more enjoyable. I can confidently say this was one of the best restaurant visits I’ve had, and I highly recommend everyone to check it out.

Ordered takeout for dinner tonight. Food was ready quickly and tasted delicious. Portions were large enough to have leftovers for the next day. Staff was also very friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend Spice of India!

Please don't confuse Spice of India with the old Hernandez Mexican restaurant. Hernandez is gone and the new kid on the block is Spice of India! The food was delicious, service was gracious and they've done a very nice job remodeling the space . They've just opened so please be kind as sometimes it takes awhile to work out the kinks. Lighting was a bit too bright for us but everything else was lovely. We'll definitely be regulars.
